Robert G. Chadwick, Jr. is a Partner and Chair of the Workplace Safety & Health Team at the national law firm of Freeman, Mathis & Gary, LLP. He is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has more than 38 years of experience in the areas of labor and employment law, OSHA/occupational safety and health law, and ERISA/employee benefits litigation. His skill set includes counseling, risk management, regulatory compliance, drafting policies and agreements, claim resolution, government audits and investigations, arbitrations, and administrative, federal and state court litigation and appeals.

As an OSHA lawyer, Mr. Chadwick has provided legal representation to employers (1) during OSHA whistleblower investigations; (2) during OSHA inspections; (3) in challenging OSHA warrants; (4) during informal settlement meetings following the issuance of OSHA citations, (5) in contesting OSHA citations before the Occupational Safety & Health Review Commission (“OSHRC”), and (6) in appealing OSHRC decisions. Several of these representations stemmed from employee fatalities.
